The Facilities Management Advanced Level Apprenticeship is suited for those working as Facilities Managers and Facilities Manager Assistants. The qualification offers a range of units covering services such as building maintenance, procurement, security, reception and customer care.
THE APPRENTICESHIP FRAMEWORK: The framework is made up of the following components. To be successful you must complete and achieve all elements.
Edexcel Level 3 Certificate in Facilities Management Practice
• Develop working relationships with colleagues
• Provide and monitor facilities for clients
• Develop and implement a risk assessment plan in own area of responsibility
Choose from a range of optional units to enhance your learning experience and tailor the programme to your individual training needs.
Edexcel Level 3 Certificate in Facilities Management (QCF)
English Level 2 and Maths Level 2

PERSONAL LEARNING AND THINKING SKILLS
This course takes 24 months to complete and has a flexible start date. There is no upper age limit for Apprenticeships making it a course ideal for both those looking to start a career in a particular sector or those who are already employed and looking to get qualifications that recognise their experience and gives them opportunity to progress further in their career.
No learner fees. Employer fees as follows:
• 16-18 years old - fully government funded (no fees)
• 19-23 years old - fully funded for companies with less than 250 employees; employer fees apply for those with 250+ employees
• 24+ years old - partially-funded (employer fees apply)
Progression & Career Opportunities
Facility Officers and Facility Manager Assistants can increase their opportunities to gain a management role. There is also opportunity to progress onto a Level 7 Leader & Management qualification or Higher Level Apprenticeship in Management.
There is no prescribed recommended prior knowledge, attainment or experience needed to gain access to this qualification but you must be employed within the industry or in a realistic working environment and as such would have been through a selection process.

We want you to achieve to the very best of your ability at CRC. To make this happen we offer both learnng and personal support by specialist staff tailored to meet your specific needs.
The Advanced Apprenticeship is delivered mostly in the workplace with one afternoon every three weeks College release required. You will be assessed in the workplace using a variety of methods including products, observations, professional discussions, and personal statements.
