Higher Level Apprenticeship in Human Resource Management

The Higher Apprenticeship in Human Resource Management is designed to develop high performing HR professionals who understand how to use HR practices to meet organisational needs and add value. It will help employers attract bright individuals who want to develop a career in a business-related profession. Upon completion, apprentices gain Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Assoc CIPD). This Apprenticeship is suitable for a variety of HR roles, including HR Executive, HR Officer, Assistant HR Manager, and Assistant HR Advisor.

No learner fees. Employer fees as follows:
• 16-18 years old - fully government funded (no fees)
• 19-23 years old - fully funded for companies with less than 250 employees; employer fees apply for those with 250+ employees
• 24+ years old - partially-funded (employer fees apply)

Progression & Career Opportunities
This Apprenticeship is suitable for a variety of HR roles, including HR Executive, HR Officer, Assistant HR Manager, and Assistant HR Advisor. On completion you may wish to progress onto a higher level management course.
There are no formal entry requirements but candidates are expected to have significant experience of working in an HR environment to ensure they have the suitable foundations on which to further build their knowledge and skills. You will need good levels of numeracy and literacy, as well as a strong interest in what makes businesses successful, and how to get the best out of people.
You are not eligible for the Apprenticeship route if you already have a Level 4 or Degree qualification. However, you can enrol on the CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Applied Human Resources as a full cost option.
Learning Assessment & Support
We want you to achieve to the very best of your ability at CRC. To make this happen we offer both learnng and personal support by specialist staff tailored to meet your specific needs.
These qualifications are delivered mostly in the workplace with the technical certificate being delivered in the college on a day release basis. Learners will be assessed in the workplace using a variety of methods including work products, observations, professional discussions, questioning, and personal statements. At College, they will also be assessed on the technical element of the programme by way of reports, exams and written answers to questions.
